Rooted in scripture and based on biblical principles, designed to help couples see marriage through the eyes of the Creator of marriage.
Practical in nature and offers perspectives and strategies linking the infallible Word of God to research based approaches in couple counseling.
Process driven and involves introspection, reflection and evaluation of marriage.
Vision focused and mission driven, encouraging couples, regardless of which season they find their marriage in, to consider how their marriage can have purpose.
The program is delivered through 5 Modules and is accompanied by a Couples Workbook.

This module focuses on preparing fertile ground and laying firm foundations for a great marriage.
Module 2: From Great Expectations to Godly Expectations
Module 3: Communication 101
This module explores factors that enhance positive communication and teaches two core skills that help couples practice healthy communication within the context of their relationship. It further gives biblical guidance for maintaining healthy communication within a marriage.
Module 4: Navigating Conflict
Module 5: Casting a Vision
This module guides couples through creating a marriage mission statement that they will use to map out their relationship by focusing on their goals as a couple.
The Great Expectations: Mentors Program *
We offer a separate optional Mentors Training Program aimed at mature Christian couples who would like to continue working with couples who attended the Great Expectations marriage program. The Mentors Program comes with it’s own workbook, and provides mentor couples with training on how to foster a supportive mentoring relationship using the principles in the Great Expectations Marriage Program.
